The #3 State Ranked College Station Girls Cross Country Team won the Region 3-5A Regional Championship on Tuesday morning in Huntsville. The Lady Cougars defeated runner-up Georgetown by 55 points en route to their second consecutive regional title. College Station had a stellar day by placing their 5 scoring runners in the top 12, in a field of 173 runners. Megan Roberts led the way with a 3rd place individual finish in 18:46 over the 5000m course. Katherine Brunson followed closely behind in 18:48 to finish 4th. Maddie Jones was 9th (19:25), Delaney Ulrich 10th (19:25), Jadyn DeVerna 12th (19:41), Audrey Wong 19th (20:05), and Ellie Seagraves 64th (21:26). This is the 4th Regional Championship for the Lady Cougars and their 9th qualification to the UIL State Championship Meet.
